An international workshop on the theme "Algebraic and Geometric Lie Theory" (AGLT) will take place at the center CTQM, University of Aarhus, Denmark, during the week 25-29 June, 2007. This is part of the activities in the EC-network "LIEGRITS", and it is also sponsored by "AALT", and by CTQM, via grants from the Danish National Science Research Council, and the Niels Bohr Visiting Professorship grant from the Danish National Research Foundation.

The focus will be on recent developments in representation theory. In particular, algebraic and geometric methods for constructions and investigations of representations of Lie algebras, algebraic groups and quantum groups will be presented.
